Exploring & Predicting Employee Attrition With Machine Learning in R
Employee turnover can be costly and disruptive for any organization.
In this project, I explore a fictional company dataset to identify key drivers of employee attrition and build a machine learning model to predict which employees are at risk of leaving.
Using techniques such as class imbalance handling, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning, I developed a predictive model that balances accuracy with interpretability.
This project demonstrates how data science can provide valuable insights into workforce management and help organizations make proactive HR decisions.
